Ninette – Thin is never thin enough

Drawn with a light touch and a love of detail, this interactive comic tells the moving story of 14-year-old Janette and her struggles to overcome anorexia.

The story

Janette is having trouble to adapt to the changes going on in her body, she is especially having issues with her newly appearing curves.
Succeeding at swimming, catching the attention of the boy she likes; her weight seems to be nothing but a burden that gets in the way. Janette is drawn deeper into a merciless fight against her weight. This is the story of her struggling to overcome anorexia and find her way back to life.

A comprehensive platform to showcase preventative infotainment

This striking interactive comic is supplemented by additional information in the form of articles, podcasts and interactive tests which have been developed in cooperation with prestigious experts. In 11 episodes with lively illustrations we accompany Janette on her path to finding her own identity.
With an attractive modern design and presented in a sensitive way, Ninette adopts an objective approach, providing an analysis and explanation of the subject of anorexia, which is often still taboo, and makes a significant contribution to its prevention.
